A private heated indoor pool in its own building. Yours for the whole stay, in any weather, without sharing the water with anyone who is not on your reservation.
The space
A pool house, not a pool corner
The pool is 19 feet long and 10 feet wide, in a 30' × 28' room built around it. That is the part worth being specific about: plenty of rentals advertise an indoor pool and mean a narrow lap tank wedged into a basement. This one has its own two-story building, with daylight and room to sit down away from the water.
Upstairs, a 30' × 16' loft with a wet bar, a full bathroom and a queen sleeper sofa looks down over the pool room, so whoever is not swimming still has somewhere to be. One rule follows from that layout: children in the water are supervised from pool level, not from the loft.

Why it matters
The plan that never gets cancelled
Mountain weather does as it likes, and a lake holiday that depends on the weather is a holiday with a single point of failure. Heated and indoors means the pool is open in January while it snows, on the wet June afternoon, and after the October walk that went on too long.
With 20 people in the house that matters more than it sounds. A group this size cannot all pivot to one indoor plan when the forecast turns. The pool, the two outdoor hot tubs, the game room and the theater room mean the day reorganises itself instead of collapsing. Bring swimsuits whatever the month, including the ones with snow in them.
What the pool is for, season by season
Winter
Deep Creek sits high enough that the snow is real. Wisp is twenty minutes away, and the pool is what the children do at four in the afternoon when everyone comes off the mountain cold and nobody wants to go out again.
Spring
The unreliable season. Some days are the lake at its best and some are rain against the windows from breakfast onward. The pool is the reason a wet week is still a week away rather than a fortnight of board games.
Summer
The lake is the point in July, and the pool is where the small children swim while the adults are still loading the boat, and where everyone ends up after the sunburn sets in.
Autumn
Foliage weeks are for walking, and walking in the mountains in October ends cold. Warm water and two hot tubs afterward is the whole argument.

The pool rules, in plain terms
There is no lifeguard. All swimming is at your own risk, and these are the rules that keep it uneventful.
- No glass anywhere in the pool area. Plastic or aluminium only.
- Children supervised by a responsible adult at all times, at pool level rather than from the lounge above.
- No diving. The pool is not deep enough for it.
- No running on the deck. Wet tile is wet tile.
- Shower before you get in where you can, and keep food out of the water.
- Day visitors may swim only while the guest named on the reservation is there and supervising.

Is the indoor pool open year-round?
Yes. The pool house is heated and the indoor pool is available in every season, including winter stays.

A private indoor heated pool (19'L × 10'W) in its own building, exclusively yours all stay, with a wet-bar lounge above it. Children must be supervised; no glass in the pool area.
How many hot tubs are there?
Two, on the lower-level patio, open year-round. No glass in or around the tubs; children must be supervised by an adult, and guests who are pregnant or have heart conditions or high blood pressure should check with a doctor before soaking.
How many people can stay?
Up to 20 guests across 8 bedrooms. There is no per-guest pricing: the nightly rate for your dates is the same whether you bring 8 or 20.
