Woodland Chalet has 2 fully equipped kitchens (main level and lower level). Please treat all appliances and cookware with care:
Beds are made and towels are out when you arrive. We provide bed linens, pillows and a blanket or bedspread on every bed, and one bath towel and one washcloth per guest. Linens for daybeds and sofa beds are provided but are not made up, so if you are using them, make them up on arrival. Bring your own beach towels for the lake, pool and hot tubs; house towels should not go outside.
The welcome kit is a starter, not a stock. We leave a small amount of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and dish detergent so you are not caught short on arrival. It is a courtesy and it is not enough for a full stay, and we do not replenish it. Please plan to bring your own consumables, along with hand soap, laundry detergent, bath toiletries, hair dryers, beach towels for the lake, pool and hot tubs, firewood, and any specialty kitchen items you want.
- Clean up after each meal and do not leave food out overnight
- Use cutting boards when preparing food; do not cut directly on countertops
- Hand-wash any specialty items (cast iron, non-stick pans) rather than using the dishwasher
- Report any appliance malfunctions promptly to woodlandchaletdcl@gmail.com
- The gas grill is available for your use, and propane is provided. Please turn off the gas valve after each use, and tell us if the tank runs low
