Ask A Question Instead

Completing Stripe Checkout collects payment. Your dates are confirmed only after our server processes Stripe's verified payment webhook. Stays more than 35 days out pay a 30% deposit; the balance is due 35 days before arrival. The rental agreement you sign after booking asks separately whether we may charge the same card; otherwise we send a secure payment link. Your rental agreement arrives by email to e-sign before check-in. By continuing you agree to our Privacy Policy.

How Booking Works

  1. Pick your dates

    The calendar at the top of this page is synced from our booking calendar. Open days are bookable right now; anything else is already taken.

  2. See the price

    Your total appears as soon as the dates are legal: nightly rent, cleaning, and both Maryland taxes, itemized. There is no separate platform service fee and no per-guest pricing.

  3. Book it

    Pay securely by card. Your reservation is confirmed after Stripe verifies the payment. Stays more than 35 days out pay a 30% deposit; balance collection follows the separate consent in the rental agreement you sign after booking.

  4. E-sign the rental agreement

    We email your rental agreement, with the same terms and house rules published on this site, to e-sign online before check-in. Door codes arrive once it’s signed.

Summer weeks run Sunday to Sunday (7 or 14 nights) for arrivals from mid-June to mid-August. Pick a Sunday to start. The calendar shows which ones. The rest of the year has a 3-night minimum, stays top out at 14 nights, and a stay can end the day the summer weeks begin but can't run across them.

The fine print, up front

Stay length

Summer arrivals, mid-June to mid-August: whole Sunday-to-Sunday weeks, 7 or 14 nights. The rest of the year, including holidays: 3-night minimum, any arrival day, as long as the stay doesn't overlap a summer week. Maximum 14 nights. Direct bookings start October 1, 2026.

Check-in / out

Check-in 4:00 PM · Check-out 10:00 AM. Back-to-back weeks are fine: the house is turned over on changeover day, so no night sits idle between stays.

Payments & taxes

Stays more than 35 days out reserve with a 30% deposit. If the rental agreement you sign carries the separate balance-autopay consent, the balance is charged to the named card 35 days before arrival after a 5-day notice. Otherwise we send a secure payment link. Maryland 6% and Garrett County 8% taxes are itemized on every quote.

House rules

Cancellation

31+ days before check-in: full refund less ~3% processing costs. 30 days or fewer, no-shows & early departures: non-refundable. Bookings made before Aug 18, 2026 keep their original policy. Full policy in the Terms & Conditions.

Rental agreement

Every stay includes an e-signed rental agreement, emailed after you book and signed before check-in. The same terms and house rules published here, in plain language.

Common questions

What is the minimum stay?

Three nights year-round with any arrival day, and a maximum of 14 nights. Summer arrivals, the nine Sunday-to-Sunday weeks running mid-June to mid-August and shown on the booking calendar, book as whole weeks of 7 or 14 nights, and other stays can run right up to the summer weeks but never across them.

Is the indoor pool open year-round?

Yes. The pool house is heated and the indoor pool is available in every season, including winter stays.

How many people can stay?

Up to 20 guests across 8 bedrooms. There is no per-guest pricing: the nightly rate for your dates is the same whether you bring 8 or 20.

When is the rest of my payment due?

If your stay is more than 35 days away, a 30% deposit books it and the balance is charged to the same card 35 days before arrival, after an itemized email 5 days before (you can pay it another way by telling us first). Closer-in stays are paid in full at booking. Either way the exact amounts and dates are in your confirmation email and in the agreement you sign.

Do you require a security deposit?

No. No large refundable hold sits on your card, and every quote is itemized before you pay. Like a hotel, we keep your payment card on file, and it can only ever be charged the documented actual cost of damage, or the holdover charges in the rental agreement if a party stays past check-out (photos, invoices and the computation emailed to you first), never a flat fee or a hold.

Can we bring a boat?

Yes. A dock slip for one motorized vessel is included from Memorial Day through Labor Day, about a 10-minute walk from the house.
